BISMARCK, N.D. – North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is pleased to announce the selection of Shelly Miller as Chief of Staff. Miller previously served as operations director at NDIT since July of 2021 and previously was the HR Director since December of 2008. She has served on the NDIT executive team since 2008.

As Chief of Staff, Miller will provide strategic direction and operational oversight in the areas of communications, outreach & awareness, human resources, change management, learning & outreach for K-12 and state institutions, and NDIT EduTech. Under the direction of the chief information officer, she will work collaboratively with the executive team and agency leaders to meet the needs of stakeholders and ensure the continued growth of NDIT as a state agency.

Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a Master of Business Administration in human resource management (MBA/HRM). She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP). In her spare time Shelly enjoys working beside her husband with their animals, camping, and quiet country evenings with her family.
