Bismarck, North Dakota--Jan, 2022—The North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) department today announced that the Multistate-Information Sharing & Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) playbook is available on the Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR Marketplace, the industry’s largest and most comprehensive security orchestration marketplace. The content pack from NDIT on Cortex XSOAR’s Marketplace provides customers with the ability to fetch MS-ISAC events and alert details. North Dakota is the first state to have a playbook published in the Cortex XSOAR Marketplace.

NDIT‘s MS-ISAC offering automates alert processes for security teams. With the addition of MS-ISAC to the Cortex XSOAR Marketplace, they are now able to assist clients in accelerating response time, investigating events, and remediate incidents.

“Most state security operations centers are inundated with security alerts,” said Michael Gregg, the chief information security officer of NDIT. “North Dakota is leading the way in the development of automated playbooks and machine learning. This is a great accomplishment for our team as it allows us to provide better services to the entities we support as we work to enhance the overall cybersecurity posture for citizens that will help empower people, improve lives and inspire success.”

“A robust, open ecosystem is at the heart of Cortex XSOAR,” said Rishi Bhargava, VP of Product Strategy for Cortex XSOAR at Palo Alto Networks. “We are proud to welcome NDIT to the Cortex XSOAR Marketplace ecosystem, which has 850+ integrations that enable our customers to streamline automation, scale analysis and response, and connect disparate security tools and data sources to enable maximum efficiency in the SOC.”
