To reduce red tape and streamline processes, NDIT-supported agencies are encouraged to directly purchase the technology items listed below. This approach minimizes the number of state staff involved in procurement and billing for external agency-owned property. While NDIT does not supply these items directly, we will support their use and assist with installation if needed. To request installation help, please submit a Generic Desktop Support request in ServiceNow.

Purchases must align with state procurement policies. For guidance, please consult the ND Government Procurement page, and reference the ND State Contracts list for approved vendors.

If you're unsure about what to purchase or need something not listed, submit a Generic Desktop Support service request in ServiceNow to ask for hardware recommendations.
